Nintendo is releasing a new free weapon for Splatoon called the Splash-o-matic.
Splatoon players can get their hands on the rapid-fire gun tonight at 7 p.m. PT, according to Nintendo of America. The Splash-o-matic is the third free DLC weapon for the third-person shooter, following the N-ZAP85, a tribute to the NES light-gun peripheral, and Inkbrush.
There have also been two free DLC multiplayer maps released for Splatoon so far, with Kelp Dome added to the Wii U exclusive earlier this week. Nintendo plans to bring more modes, maps and weapons to the third-person shooter in the weeks ahead, with an August update introducing party matchmaking and custom online games.
Coming out last month, Splatoon landed as the No. 5 best-selling game in the United States for May. On top of that, the splashy shooter will show up at the Nintendo World Championships this weekend.
